Publish a Note as a document
Create a separate shareable Markdown document from a private Gryz Note.

What happens when you publish a Note?
Publishing creates a new Markdown document from the Note's current content. The original Note remains private and unchanged. The two items are independent: later edits do not sync in either direction, and publishing again creates another document.
Choose the document settings
The Note publishing flow accepts:
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Visibility | Restricted by default, or Public for a shareable link |
| Title | Defaults to the Note title; you can provide a document title |
| Custom slug | Optional and subject to your plan's vanity-slug allowance |
| Public expiry | Optional; omitted values use your plan's public-link default |
Restricted documents do not expire, but they count toward your private-document quota. Public documents use the same expiry, moderation, content-size, and ownership rules as every other Gryz publish path.
Publish from My Docs
- Open the Note and save your latest changes.
- Choose Publish as document.
- Select Restricted or Public and review the optional title, URL, and expiry.
- Publish, then open the new document to review its settings and share link.
